Weight Loss~ Cobblestone Road Photography~

My weight loss journey has been a big fail for the last two months.  The seaonal flu, bronchitis, sinus infections, oh yeah and the stomach flu have been visiting my house since December and we are just now FINALLY free of sickness.  For now...
So I started back at the gym today.  Zumba is next week. The hubs and I started our diet yesterday and I am already cheating.  Sweets are my weakness and I need so much help! I need encouragement from you guys.  Or harassment, however you want to look at it! ;)   I want to do this.  I really, really do.  Any tips? Motivation help?  Recipes for healthier eating?  Help me please!  I have till the middle of April to lose at least 15 lbs.  I can do this, right?

As a newer photographer (2 yrs) I have photographed high school seniors, children, families, newborns, and weddings trying to figure out what I am best at and what my style is.  I honestly thought that I would end up being a family/child portrait photographer but things are happening that have led me to the decision that I am going to pursue wedding photography exclusively! I will only do very select, limited sessions for seniors, children, newborns & families from here on out.  I have a faithful, supportive group of friends in Florida so every year I will continue to offer sessions once or twice a year for them but I mainly want to concentrate on weddings.  Weddings here in Missouri and hopefully all over the country as well! I have several booked for the year already & I am photographing several weddings with friends this year also and I am already up to 20 weddings!  In order to maintain a normal life with my family and not spread myself too thin I think this is the best choice for me.  I am excited to build my wedding portfolio to reflect my style this year!  If you know of any brides who favor a rustic, natural, vintage vibe or anything edgy and unique then send them my way!  I am so looking forward to growing and learning more this year as a wedding photographer and hope you enjoy watching the ride!

Took a few quick pictures yesterday of my favorite valentine and gave them a vintage feel. I haven't done a session with my cutie in way too long! I also haven't blogged in way too long! I have 3 weddings and 9 sessions left to blog from the fall. I am so bad at blogging and avoid it like the plague but no more I promise. I want to give you more of an inside view of my life so I am going to try and mix a lot more personal posts in with these sessions. I will be trying out new recipes, my weight loss (which isn't going very well so far), random thoughts, things I like ect and I think I will start showing some before & after pics too. Any thought/ideas you think would make my blog posts more interesting please feel free to send me ideas.

St. Louis/St. Charles & Pensacola High School Senior Photographer ~Cobblestone Road Photography~

Despite all the sand spurs, horrendous wind, cold weather (in the low 30's...that is cold for Florida!)and a poisonous snake sighting we had a blast during this high school senior session! The location...to die for. I absolutely love having photo sessions at Ft. Pickens! One location, 3 completely different looks! And all the textures!!! I was seriously in Heaven! Chelseigh is gorgeous so she made my job super easy! I had a ton of fun editing these pictures and tried for a vintage feel in some of them.
