Exciting news.....Introducing Themed/Stylized Sessions~St. Louis/St. Charles Family Photographer

I have decided to specialize in just a few categories of photography and not to try and do everything! I love babies but I do not want to be a newborn photographer! But I do love families and children and I especially love weddings. So those are the area's I will be focusing my energy on. But wait...there's more. Not just family sessions but....wait for it...oh I am so excited I've been keeping this secret for the last few months....Stylized or Themed sessions!!! I have several upcoming sessions in the next few months and I can't wait to share!!!

What do I mean by stylized or themed? Tea Parties, Fairies, Camping & Fishing, Outdoor movies complete with popcorn and soda pop, Hansel & Gretal, Apple picking. These are all sessions that have already been booked! WooHoo!!! I can not wait! I really want to do something that gets my creative juices flowing and isn't done so much in the area. Something unique. And this my friends is it. I literally have ideas flowing non stop. You should see my notepad. It is so full of ideas;) So, if you are interested in booking a themed session message me soon because I am almost booked up for the rest of the year!

Stephanies Maternity Session Part One~St. Charles/St. Louis Maternity Photographer

Golden Hour....My favorite time to take pictures. Dreamy, hazy light. Only thing I would have changed about this session was the humid 100 degree weather. I did this session in 25 minutes. Quickest session I have ever done! I was a bit nervous too because Stephanie is also a photographer. It's always nerve racking to take pictures of other photographers! Stephanie, you and your family are truly troopers for dealing with that heat! Here is Part One of your session! Thanks so much for letting my practice with you! (This was my very first maternity session :)!) Oh and thanks for suggesting this location, loved it! Next post will be all the belly pictures!

Okay, so I am am looking back through my blog and realized there are some sessions from the fall that I didn't blog! All these families deserve to be blogged so I am going to play catch up for the next few weeks! First up is Aimee's session. I loved this session so much!!! We went to a location she suggested back in my hometown of Milton and it was perfect! As you can see we were able to get two different looks out of one location! Here you go Aimee! :)

Chad & Amanda Engaged! St.Louis Wedding Photographer

What a hot couple you two are! You made my job soooo easy:-D Oh, and I loved, loved, loved the DIY kite you brought Amanda. Super cute! Too bad it wasn't windy enough to fly it! The Forest Park location suited you two perfectly. I love that you chose a place that is important to you. (They take walks there just about every Sunday!)
